Why Group Therapy?

Group Therapy promotes self understanding and change. It can be a wonderful addition to individual therapy where attention can be brought to your experience of relating to others. It can also be a way to manage the financial investment of individual therapy if you are not ready to fully embark on that journey. Finally, it is a playground for testing out ways of being and interacting with others in a safe, nurturing space. Understanding that you are not alone, learning coping skills, and bearing witness to others can be tremendously healing.

Women's Group

We will address issues related to anxieties about relationships, career, family dynamics, and body image. Being in a group with other women can help to identify areas of needed growth and help to foster an awareness of how one is seen by others. Connect with other women who share similar concerns in a supportive nurturing environment. Enhance your ability to connect with and articulate your experiences and feelings. This group may incorporate the use of music, art and drama therapy.
